Modern Warfare 3 will be receiving 5 more prestige levels as well as perhaps 5 more in the near future. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling recently confirmed on his personal Twitter account that 400 new levels and five prestiges are already included with PC version of MW3.
This add-on is going to be made to the console editions in the coming days.
At this point , PC gamers need to reach Prestige Level 15 to be able to reset all stats. Prior to patch 1.5.387 on PC, MW3 contained a maximum prestige level of 10. It's going to be the same for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in the coming days. Having said that he only affirmed 5 more had been added, however there were 10 prestige icons uploaded in the patch which most likely imply Prestige 16-20 is going to be turned on at a later date.

Personally I think that Bad Company 3 has a lot to offer, especially rpcghias, sounds and the overall game play environment. I really don’t know how the game play might be, but if it’s something like number 2 then it’s pretty good, especially in multiplayer. As for COD MW 3, I know that it will definitely have awesome game play, the deal is to at least come close in rpcghias to Bad Company 3 but then again, does everyone own a top of the line computer?
robert bowling is a fucking retard! who the fuck wants to lvl up the same shit 20 times?! stupid ass game creators, at least let us have the option of skipping the 19 gay ass prestiges so we can get all the weapon classes! more than enough to lvl up to lvl 80 once, and u can reset ure statrs if u feel like lvling more
