Activision has introduced a brand new Modern Warfare 3 trailer exposing the game's recently released Face Off mode and furthermore they have included with Face Off a new 3 vs 3 playlist. Previously MW3 Face Off only featured 1vs1 & 2vs2 with smaller multiplayer maps specifically created for Face Off to promote strategy, skill, and teamwork.

Brand new Infinity Ward community manager Tina Palacios has hinted about this new update when she tweeted: "A little bird told me 3v3 may be coming soon."

The initial two Face Off maps, Aground and Erosion, are accessible absolutely free on Xbox Live, while the other two is going to release within MW3 Content Collection #2. Of course Xbox Elite premium members already have all the maps as part of Collection 2.

The new MW3 Face Off and maps will be released sometimes in June for PS3 and PC.

Following yesterday’s release of MW3 DLC Content Collection 2 for Xbox 360 premium Elite members, today all gamers on Xbox can download the 2 free Face Off maps. Erosion and Aground are specially designed for the brand new 1v1 and 2v2 game mode, Face Off.

Journey into the heart of South Korea for a decommissioned concrete factory where the cement flows and bullets fly. After decades of constructing roads and buildings, the towering facility is now a perfectly-constructed combat zone for sniping and run-and-gun rules of engagement. Don't stand in awe of the towering concrete crusher at the center of the factory unless you want to see your kill ratio meet the same fate.

Spec Ops mission:

• Kill Switch

There will be four maps created for Face Off exclusively. The first two are Aground and Erosion, that will be accessible to all on Xbox for free from May 15th, PC and PS3 will follow at a later time. The seventh drop in Mw3 DLC schedule is Sanctuary, that is set in a Greek Monestary and the eighth drop is Foundation, set around a decommissioned South Korean concrete factory.

Xbox 360 Elite subscribers were able to download the new DLC maps on April 10th. Additionally tomorrow on May 8th the very first DLC Content Collection #1 will be available for PC players.
