Well this is something that I’m really excited about and can’t wait to try. The Dual Scope feature of MW3 was confirmed this week by Robert Bowling who is a creative strategist at Infinity Ward for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Here is the explanation of the dual scope feature from Robert: “Its the ability for you to have two scopes (close range optic & long range optic) that you can flip up and back on the fly in”
I always had the problem of sometimes having the wrong scope and there is not much that I could have done about it. This was the main reason that I was not using long range scope often as they put me at a disadvantage for medium to short range battle. But thanks to the developers at MW3 that problem is solved. According to the explanations, players will be able to switch “rapidly” between short or long range scopes. By “rapidly” it will probably take the same time to change scopes as reload time. Maybe we can even see a perk for faster scope changing.
Will have to see if there will be any restrictions on dual scope combinations. As soon as we get some more details about this new feature will update our MW3 fan site.
